Introduction

Titanium Doped Sapphire is a unique material revolutioninzing the laser and photonics industry. This material is the most widely used crystal for wavelength tunable lasers. It is also an excellent medium capable of generating ultra-shortpulsed high gain and high power lasers. Our scientists have successfully developed Ti : Sapphire crystals based on the new Temperature Gradient Technique (TGT) and induction thermal Field Up-shift Method (IFUM).

Our Technology

The characteristics of our Ti : Sapphire crystals include high doping level, high gain, and a high laser induced-damage threshold.

Titanium Sapphire Laser Technology

Our Ti : Sapphire laser can be used in detecting airborne pollution, water vapor, and other atmospheric conditions useful for weather forecasting and atmospheric sampling.The Ti : Sapphire laser can also be used for remote sensing, medicine, and research and development applications.
