Pre-Paid Smart Card Gas Metering For Reducing the Labor Intensive nature of Meter Checking Introduction To copy a gas meter recording is very labor intensive and boring work in the gas company. Several methods were invented to help solve the problem. Due to technical complexities, limitations have prevented any wide circulation.
Our Technology In order to issue the IC card, a database and computer management system was completed, accompanied with a smart gas meter. Two kinds of IC cards were adopted, as one is for the user and the other is for diagnosis by the gas company.Our new gas card greatly reduces the complexity and manual labor requirements for collecting gas records. Savings in Efficiency Depending on the clerk processing efficiency, one PC at aneighborhood center can efficiently service up to 500 customers per day, instantly updating the customer account at central station, as well as issuing printed receipts on the spot.Compare this with the meter man going from house to house reading meters, and the time and labor in inputting the readings to the central accounting system.
