Enhanced Glucoamylase Production For various food & Drink Industries Introduction Glucoamylase (EC 3.2.1.3) is an important industrial enzyme that is used by the manufacturers of high fructose corn syrup (HFCS). More than half of all commercial baked goods and practically all soft drink bottlers usethis syrup instead of sugar because HFCS is both sweeter and cheaper. Glucoamylase catalyzes the breakdown of malto-oligosaccharides to glucose.
Our Technology We have devised a new method for the enhanced preparation of glucoamylase from Aspergillus Niger. It is based on the Chinese mastery of fermentation bioscience. Our glucoamylase has an unusually high maximum temperature of 70 oC for activity.
Glucoamylase Applications The glucoamylase preparation from Aspergillus Niger mutant has been produced on a commercial scale. The preparation was widely utilized forthe industrial production of crystalline D-glucose, high fructose corn syrups, wine, ethanol, beer, and in other fermentation processes.
