For Monitoring the burners of Kilns and Furnaces

Introduction

Kilns and furnaces in manufacturing and processing plants have to be monitored constantly to ensure that they are producing the appropriate amount of heat. They must also be monitored to avoid serious accidents.

Until now, there haven't been any monitors which could monitor the flames in a satisfactory capacity.

Our Technology

Utilizing new fiber-optic sensing (FOS) technology, our method supersedes the traditional methods of monitoring furnace flames including the ultraviolet, visible light, and infrared methods.

The temperature, lambent frequency, and fuel density signals are outputted simultaneously and transmitted by optical fiber cable to the signal processing system.

Advantages and Features of This Technology

Our technology can thus be used in a central system to monitor an array of burners and furnaces so as to achieve maximum burn and fuel efficiency of the plant.

It can detect the flame of each spray head

It utilizes remote sensing by optical fiber cable

It uses several signals such as the temperature, lambent frequency, and the fuel density
