Introduction

Rapeseed meals are rich in proteins (35-40%) and their nutritional values are comparable with that of soybean meals.

But because rapeseed meals contain the toxic compound glucosinolate, most of them can only be used as fertilizers. This is a tremendous waste of natural resources.

Our scientists have applied detoxification methods used in China to process rapeseed meals and produce good quality feed-grade proteins.
