Laser Radiation Detector
Using PVDF film


Our invention is a new type of Pyroelectric Radiation Detector.


The existing detectors can only be fabricated in the shape of a flat plate and the maximum radiation power density they can withstand is only 10 MW/cm
2


Features of our Detector:


Our detector Can be used to detect pulse laser radiation with a power density of up to 100 MW/cm2.


It may also be bent or folded up into any desired shape.


The PVDF film can provide a large area and a uniform distribution of pyroelectricity.


Our detector can also function as a microwave pulse calorimeter or an X-ray calorimeter.


Technology is available for transfer.
