Introduction

Computer to plate (CTP) imaging system is a new technology in the printing industry. The CTP bypasses the need for photographic film in pre-press production, thereby lowering the cost and speeding up the production process. The traditional method of CTP systems uses rotational mirrors or acoustic optic modulators which can result in non-consistent imaging spot size and low scan speed. We use a different technology.

Out Technology

We have a new patent-pending multi-beam scanning method that can ensure a consistent spot size and high image quality.

The market impact of this new CTP imaging system is significant. In addition to its use in printing publications, it could also be used in textile manufacturing and print circuit board production, etc.

A resolution of up to 4,000 dpi

A line align accuracy of 10.5 micrometer

An overall repeatability of 5 micrometer

An increased plotting speed

A maximum plate size of 565mm x 790 mm

A scan time of < 10 minutes
