As a natural outgrowth of 16 years of exchange relations with the Chinese Academy of Science and other key institutions in China, CCNY has signed new cooperation agreements with our sister institutions to promote technology transfer between research and commercial development but also between China and North America. The China-America Technology Corp. (CTC) has been launched by CCNY in order to implement these agreements.
CCNY, located in the City of New York, has a 150 year history of academic excellence, with 8 Nobel Laureates among her graduates, and boasts of many corporate executive officers and senior management personnel of major corporations among her alumni. CCNY has the full range of academic offerings, with Ph.D. program in the sciences and engineering, with federally and state funded research programs in the physical, chemical, biological and geological sciences, as well as in chemical, civil, computer science, electrical, and mechanical engineering departments. CCNY also has the Center for Advanced Technology supported by the State of New York and the City University of New York.
CTC is a separate corporate entity of the State of New York. Representations made here are solely the responsibility of CTC. CTC is 51% owned by the Free Academy Foundation, a not-for-profit organization affiliated with City College of New York and incorporated in the State of New York.
