Production Technology for Activated Modified Rubber Powder

Used Tires

At present there are about 0.8 million tons of scrap vulcanized rubber ejected every year in China. Scrap tires comprise between 0.4~0.45 million tons of the total scrap vulcanized rubber ejected each year.It is estimated that by the year 2,000 the amount of scrap rubber ejected in China will reach 1.4 million tons with scrap tires comprising nearly 0.7~0.75 million tons.

Our Technology

The scientists in China have developed a technology which can produce an activated modified rubber (AMR) powder useful for rubber recycling and tire retreading applications.0.25~0.3 million tons of AMR powder can be produced from 0.4~0.45 million tons of scrap vulcanized rubber.

The AMR powder actually strengthens the rubber it is mixed with to provide the following benefits:

Greater Wear Resistance on rough surfaces

Less Solid Scrap Rubber Waste

Greater Savings in Cost for Tire and other types of

rubber products
