New Method in the Development of Mesoporous Activated Carbon Fibers

Introduction

Porous carbon materials in different forms, such as activated carbon fibers play an important role in several industries, especially those with environmental concerns.These activated carbon fibers which can be used in the building of structures such as buildings and vehicles grab toxic compounds from the air or water, thereby reducing pollution.

However, until now it has been extremely difficult to construct the necessary fibers without spending too much time and money on the projects.

Our Technology

Our invention puts forward a new way to solve these problems. We have successfully generated an activated carbon fiber which yields high mesoporosity and high purity. Our method is both cheap and simple to reproduce.
